Grotz' Gitz had no chance today. None. Nada. Zip. Their blocks and blitzed sucked but especially the ball handling didn't work at all.
It didn't help either that the dark elves were on fire tonight - their dodges were amazing... Well, the fact that the delfs got a blitz in the beginning may not have helped the opposing team. Nor the fact that a touchdown was therefore scored on the second round by Namarie Pow...
...you see the pattern here? ;)
Touchdown! scored two more times, on the fifth round and on the third of the second half. The orcs were close to score on the eight round but (once again) one of the elves dodged his way to the goblin and knocked him down.
Man of the match was definetely Namarie Pow who was simply amazing on the field (well, until he was hurt badly that is...). Miomir Strongarm decided to retire and left the team. However, a promising rookie witch elf joined the team. Now we finally two of them...
ugh. This was not the orcs' lucky night. Watch this replay if you're interested in seeing an absolutely uncanny number of dodges. I have a feeling our teams are somewhat well-matched, but there's only so much you can do. After a Blitz!, then perfect defense, then a dropped sure hands pickup, then...well. You get the point.
Thanks for the game =)”
