#1 Macropodicus – Dead (RIP) #7 Quikka – Dead (RIP)
“An expensive win for the Raiders.
Nuffle teased the Squeelers by taking out Hammer and Ratta Louie before the game to even up the lineups, but their early rolls were all bad.
The Squeelers took the first run but Vectic fell over setting up the play leaving the ball wide open. FerryRat ran in but the ball spilled to Luke and the cage formed. The cage was pried open and the ball spilled again, but Earnie tripped over trying to pick it up leaving it wide open again for Quikka to score.
The cage formed on the second kick off and it took a few turns of failed rolls by the Squeelers but the FerryRat finally pried it open on turn 7 and Meep Meep was the lucky recipient in place to score his debut TD.
The Raiders had a quick snap to start the second half and Tunnels took the field for the first time to score a trademark one-turner.
The next kickoff and another failed block saw the unlucky Squeelers with a hole in the cage. FerryRat spilled the ball to Meep Meep who passed off to Quikka for his 2nd TD for the game.
4-0 down and the Squeelers sparked into attack. Montgomery Burns killed his opposite number, putting to an end the pathetic Macropodicus who had 3 casualties in 18 games. Vectic then put away another player before Quikka ran in and picked up the ball from a next of Squeelers, dodging through heavy traffic, and dodged away before being KILLED on the 2+ final dodge. Luke picked up the ball as the Squeelers laid into the outnumbered Raiders. He then stalled near the line for a while to watch the carnage but was caught by RazzleRat. Unfortunately the ball spilled straight to Girtak who waltzed over for the TD on turn 8.
