The Souleaters seemed a little lost at times and resorted to what any Chaos team does best, and the body count started to mount.
Only the excellent attention on Straw Dogs medic Ernie Flint prevented this becoming a very costly game.
The Dogs limped back to the Dog House after a pounding with a much needed win, but it remains to see if the damged caused will leave them too weak to take on their next opponent.
As for the Souleaters they can enjoy the fact that they hold the highest causualty rate for an opening game. Fans celebrated buy burning down their wing of the stadium.
