The Furball Spawn were on the board early in the first half and almost faced a tied ending to that half when after breaking loose a ball that had started in the hands of Ogre Steely McBeam, Quarterback Ben Rothlisberger managed to catch the loose ball and pass it to Heath Miller. The normally sure handed Miller dropped an accurate pass and the loose ball ended up in the hands of the Spawn.

The second half was filled with more woes for the Steelers, who did mange to get the ball into the end zone late in the half off of a Larry Foote blitz and score. The Steelers had a chance to tie it up, having held the Furballs back, but all Heath Miller had to do was get the ball and pitch it to Quincy Morgan for the tie, but he fumbled the ball in a tackle zone and the Furball Spawn tossed it in for a n end-game score, denying the Steelers any hopes of overtime.
