“after i royally goofed up and stalled for too long, failing to score my 1 secure TD at the end of the first half, he by rights should have gotten a score on me in the 2nd and won it. but i got lucky enough for that to fail, and nearly brought the ball back up for another TD of my own. but alas, it was not meant to be. so my stupidly failed TD in the first half did in fact cost me the win.
