#4 Pitchy Sambora – Dead (RIP) #8 T'eef Walsh – Dead (RIP)
“This was quite a bitter defeat.
I must say I played well, but my opponent had a stronger team and managed to injure 5 players on my team, leaving me pretty crippled.
No one scored in the first half, and I got really close to a 1-0 TD at the start of the second half, but my thrower just couldn't pick the ball up. By the 4th turn in the second half my team could impossibly stand against the Nurglers and they slowly made their way upfield and scored the game's only TD.
I got lucky with the 1d blocks, while my opponent got lucky with injuries. Ce la vie... I wish it could be the other way around sometime...
This was my first game against a Nurgle team. It was interesting, and my opponent played well. They have some horrifying strengths (just like all 'unofficial' teams), yet they're not impossible to defeat. Just stay out of their way and score a quick TD, before they annihilate you!
I'm going to miss Pitchy Sambora, one of my best players. And to add insult to injury, the MVP award went to my dead lineman...”
