“It started with the pro's getting the ref, but my bloodthirsty pawns were lucky with the injury rolls and happily fouled back making sure we both lost quite a few players 1st half!
I couldnt stop the pro's from scoring late and our OTS attempt quickly failed as we kept rolling pows!
2nd half I was still pretty confident. The plan to give the ball to my st4 blitzer surrounded by guards, while bashing the pro's off field looked pretty feasable. We put too much faith in our thrower though who nervously blundered away the ball not once but twice (three times even?) putting us in dire straits.
2d strip ball with rr didnt save us and we were down 0-2.
After that I had to risk a quick goal, but the thrower fumbled again.
My players vented their frustration by killing off a few pro's , who in turn retaliated by killing our ag5 blitzer.
Fun and VERY bloody game that ought to have kept specs as entertained as I was.
