We knew it would be a grimy game, versus orcs that on paper were weaker, but boasted 9 guard! Since Russo could afford a Wiz or Ripper, we played safe and hired both wiz and Morg.
Handicaps where Buzzing and Iron Man, combined to make one annoying blitzer. All nigglers played \o/
It was a sunny day, and after the first rounds win, my boys where very slow out of bed. Alot of sloppy gameplay later, Dylan Thomas, fresh out of rejuvination, took the ball and ran for a t8 td.
Halftime: 1-0
2:nd half saw clouds in the sky, and David Boon let out a sigh of relief; finally there would be some soothing to the throbbing inside his skull.
I had a shot at stealing the ball for a comfortable 2-0 lead, but opted out of using the wiz so early. Green Fender Benders' agile star, Son of Stu caught a pass and went for it to score 1-1 in T4.
By now Morg was out, he took both the casualties in this game, and got awarded a well deserved MVP for the effort. I still felt comfortable, as I felt my boys had awoken and my wiz could open up a spot if needed. Instead they continued slopping around, though causing some very important KO's in the process.. In the end I forgot the clock, forced Oliver Reed to do some incredibly elfish moves, and won due to a skull on Green Fender Benders' 1d blitz.
Coach Enar strictly forbid any ingestion of fermented materials (including ferrets) after the game, so that the team (hopefully) will be in better shape for next round.
Tnx for the game Russo, hope to catch you on gamefinder some day! :D”
“Great fun game with me n00bing it up in the last turn to concede the winner, after I failed to spot the AG4 Blitzer who could have blitzed for a 2d block with a reroll.
In front of hundreds of specs I messed it up royally :D
Ahh well here is to next year!!
Thx mate and good luck in the rest of the Cup :D”
