“42,000 fans showed up to watch the titanic clash between the Biggins, lead on this occasion by star muscle-for-hire, the Mighty Morg 'N Throg, and the sure as the grave team of the Necrotic Nightmares.
As seven hulking ogres faced of their undead foes, the excitment in the stands showed, as rocks, and chairs and halflings were thrown around the stands. One such projectile found its way onto the pitch, lodging itself in Fabian Bile's crainium.
Izzy the Frog, still displaying some residual orcishness, put the Goblim Tim in the injury box before a mighty blitz by the mummy Haken-Aten Broke the back of the Ogre Brains. Such quick carnage from the walking dead wrong footed the Biggins, allowing the sly ghoul Stix to skip across the touchdown line scoring the first touchdown.
With the Ogres now recieving, they lined up determined to put their opponents back in their tombs. As the ball sailed over their heads, the unquiet dead, with unexpected nimbleness rearranged their defence as the bone-headed ogres watched the ball bounce across the field.
What followed was a a scramble for the ball, as the undead tried to press home their advantage. The ghoul Stix, managing to obtain the ball, was hindered on his rush to score by a clothes-line tackle from the knotted rope and sinew that was Oh Chuckumfar's arm. Styx's will spend the next game sitting on the sidelines nursing a nasty concussion.
The for the most of the second half, both sides battled bitterly trying to get the upperhand, but with the inevitability of the grave, the undead pushed the ogres back towards their own touchdown lines, with superior numbers. In the ensuing struggle Duck recieved a fractured jaw from bandaged and age hardened fist of Ramtut III.
This fallback however was all part of the sneaky goblins' master plan. Drawing the undead out of their own half, and with the help of crowd, who threw an out of touch ball deep into the undead half, the goblins expoited the hole in the undead defence.
Only through luck, was Ramtut able to reach and blitz the sprinting I Bounce Alot (proving that the gobo lived up to his name), and end his rush, saving the game from ending in a certain tie. However, in a last ditch attempt to score in the dying minutes of the game, the Wight Carcass Bloodletter, grabbed the ball from beside the crumpled goblins body and threw it to the newly recruited ghoul Khaine. However, the amount of blood on the ball made it slippy in the wight's armoured hands, and the ball sailed wide of its target, and the game was effectively over.
The Undead return to their crypts with another victory and an increase in their fan following.
