“This was a grudge that has lingered in the Book of Grudges for the Black Fire Pass Blitzers for 2 seasons. Finally this one has been avenged. Sadly for Nufflucked, they lived up to their name and were boned horribly by the dice.
Not one thing coach Screech could pull off worked, whilst in comparison, most the plays of the Blitzers finally worked, including several 1-die blocks. Quite the opposite of our last 2 matches.
Nufflucked was looking to score early with a break away run by Nipsey Russell, their star Bull Centaur. He was caught by two longbeards and a blitz by Larry Foot-To-Head who pinned him down and managed to catch the fumbled ball. After some key blocks, Larry Foot-To-Head managed to score at the end of regulation tim in the first half.
The Blitzers received in the second half and had some key blocks early on, including sending the troll Mahnamahna-Doot-doo-de-doo-doo off the pitch on a gange block with a KO. This opened up a huge hole in the CD defense and despite some good attempts (and successful ones at that!) of knocking the ball away, it was the mad-skills of Jak Hammerbert who managed to blitz away defenders and snatch up the ball and nimbly dodge away. Nufflucked players were unable to even try to get away and Hammerbert continued his run unopposed, easily scoring the second TD for the game.
Coach Screech never had a chance with the horrible dice rolling he had, but as this was a grudge that needed avenging, the Black Fire Pass Blitzers will settle for it being settled, no matter how.”
