“Fumbbl is funny sometimes.

Take this game for instance

I had a brilliant first turn, and on my opponents first turn there was nothing after 3 mins I asked him if he was still there. I then asked if he was still there in the chat channel. nothing.

Then he said hang on a minute.
I thought there was probably some real life emergency and i was about to suggest we play again sometime when he said sorry i'm at work I gotta go.

I was really annoyed by this.
I know fumbbl is addictive but why start a game you can't finish.

I told him that i wanted to finish the game etc etc.
and sent him a pm going through the same procedure following a disconnect.
I warn him that I want to finish the game and that he shouldn't play on with the team when he comes back to fumbbl to pm me etc etc.

However to my amazement when I send the pm he's back and playing.

Cool I can now maximise on my good start.
I finish my turn and now have a bunch of his darkelves prone ready to get surfed if he stands them up. and i got the ball i'm in complete control.
he dissappears for around 6 mins then he stands all his players up

now here is where it gets interesting ignoring my plea's to speed up a little I decided to go to admin channel to see if they can persuade him to play a little faster. When I get back to the game it's my turn I start surfing his dudes.

His st4 lino gets killed by the crowd. and i get a couple of kos etc.
then i manage to get the ball to a BoB and score. excellent new BoB skill.

Second half not having learned his lesson about getting crowd surfed he again stands his peeps up next to the crowd.

I again surf a lino into the crowd and the Crowd kills him stone dead.
This is excellent stuff I've now got the ball in my half and serious numerical advantage.

Then on his turn he says that he's really sorry and he has to go and promptly concede's
Now I'm not complaining about the concede.
That is a great bonus.

But I do think that Nuffle knows when you are not behaving yourself and promptly opens up a can of whoopass on ya when you mess with your opponent.

So be warned if you are gonna start games when you are too busy to finish or play really slowly in the hope of forcing your opponent to cancel the match out of boredom, nuffle will know and he will come and get medieval on ya...

I don't want you to lose your job, but when you signed up to fumbbl you agreed to the site rules.
one of those rules says you shouldn't start a game unless you can commit to 90 mins.
it's a simple rule
It stops people from starting games and then dropping them for no good reason.
I am like the majority of coaches here and only play fumbbl when i can commit to 90 mins.
When people agree to the site rules they agree to not start a match unless they can commit to 90 mins.

An easy solution for you
play fumbbl in your own time, NOT when you are supposed to be at work
it's what the majority of us do.
that way in future your opponent won't get annoyed and you won't get fired from your job.
Simple really.
I'm surprised you need this explaining though, since you are a grownup with a job.

As for Nuffle he's the God of BloodBowl...
and he knows where you live.
and whether you've been a good boy.
and he will punish you accordingly.
