The first half was a disaster... dice were truely awful... even the luckometer read 35% vs 72% ... The undead received, but the usual handling errors put the undead under pressure from the agile elves, who eventually got the ball... but instead of delaying, a misclick meant they scored early enough for me to equalise. 1-1. So there was some light at the end of the very very dark tunnel after all!
2nd half saw lots of ball play again, and it finished 2-2, sending it into Overtime...
The undead received, and trudged up the field, but we played some VERY risky plays to score in turn 8/7 of Overtime... leaving the wood elves one turn to score...
And would you believe it... they get Quick Snap... and with no rerolls the pickup, pass, catch, block and gfi's were all made successfully meaning the WE's drew 3-3.
By this time the referee was quite eager to be getting home as he was late already... so a coin was tossed... And for once in this cursed league I finally got the benefit of it and progressed in to the final!
It was a VERY tough game, but enjoyable and challenging which is what I love in a Bloodbowl game... but I am glad to have made a final. Thanks for being a great sport Gritter... See you in WIL soon!”
