#4 Claude II – Dead (RIP) #15 Chester – Broken Ribs (MNG) #15 Chester – Smashed Knee (NI)
“Sadly, a T16 reload banishes this game to the mists of time, because it would serve as a fine reminder the next time I have a bad dice game that it could be worse. Generally when you read 'Worst dice ever' (or something along those lines) in a match report, you think it's been written too soon after the game and is a combination of sour grapes and / or tinged with disappointment, or even that the coach didn't play well and hasn't realised his own failings, blaming something else for his demise.
But to be quite honest, I fail to see how any of those turns could have ended worse, or have been played much better / differently. In the first 14 turns when the game was 'live' I'm pretty sure only one didn't end with a 2+ with RR, 3+ with RR or double Skull fail (mostly pretty early in to the dice rolling portion of the turn), but sadly, I'll never be able to check when the dust has settled. I remember being on 24% with 5 turns remaining, but then the luckometer is a bit daft. A pretty standard example was my OTS attempt that ended in a double skull RIP. In 1500 games, it's been no worse than this, I'm confident in suggesting.
Of course, none of that is Wreckage's fault, and sadly he wasted this hour of his life too. Thankfully, this came in [R] instead of one of my important upcoming [L] games, but it deserves a report to mark it for me as I go on. Good luck to the Evils as the FC moves on, I'm glad that's my Major play over with for another year. :) ”
