“The Harag Thunderfists faced off with the Foot of Tezla. Many vicious glares were exchanged between the Thuderfist Troll Slayers and Tezlas' werewolves. Thunderfists were first on offence, but the attack nearly came to an immediate halt by a quick blitz. The Necromantic team charged ferociously at the dwarves and surrounded them. Only the incredible feats by the two runners enabled the dwarves to recoup and get the ball into a better protected position. Foot of Tezla still got of an attack against them and seriously injured a Troll Slayer in the process, who was luckily saved by the apothecary. The ball carrier was blitzed by a werewolf and the ball scattered near the dwarven players.

Enraged by this new development the dwarves blocked effectively the zombies and other players away from the ball. One of the runners decided that one of the wolves was way too close to the ball and fouled the foul beast to the dugouts. He was badly hurt and never returned to the field again during the match. The Runner who committed the foul was also ejected from the match.

After some intense blocking and fighting for the ball, Duras Blitzfeet got free and ran too far for the Tezla players to catch him. He scored the first touchdown of the game with two turns remaining on the clock. The Necro team had a good shot at scoring, but were eventually repelled by the dwarf team.

The Foot of Tezla started their retaliatory drive with a quick passing offence. They threw the ball from one ghoul to another and ran near the sidelines. Then they passed the ball to an open wight. This however was a slight mistake which allowed the dwarves to blitz the ball carrier. After ten dice rolls the wight was still standing and the dwarves were frustrated as the Necro team had a good shot at scoring the following turn.

Luck however turned sides and a failed block resulting in a turnover turned the tables to the dwarves favour. The ball carrier was blocked again and this time he was taken down with the ball scattering near one of the dwarf runners. Duras Blitzfeet did not hesitate, but grabbed the ball and ran into the protection of his teammates.

During the next turns fierce fighting ensued on the Harag Thunderfists' side of the field. Eventually the dwarf players came on top and set Duras Blitzfeet free on a scoring run. The Necros were unable to stop him and Duras scored the 2-0 touchdown of the game just before the clock ran out.

A great and a really tough match. Thanks to the opponent for a fun game.
