“The two teams stepped out onto the hallowed turf, the only thought in their mind…victory and a nice bag of chips after the match. Well actually it was probably the first thought and the victory second. Anyho the teams had met before and would probably meet again. The flings lineup seemed a little different than last time, most notable, a nasty Halfling with block and tackle – isn’t that cheating???

The game followed a similar pattern of good sportsmanship to the previous encounters. In what was thought to be a unique gesture of goodwill the Mass Debaters coach beckoned the Nuffle Guides us All coach into his dug out for a half time chat. A good kicking later and the claws were out, their carver instructed to carve up a troll or two. As it turned out he did just that, the troll in question just avoiding a niggle with superior healing powers – nasty hobbits, we hates hobbits. I’m sure a rematch will come sooner rather than later and when it does listen to these words very carefully

You will receive a good game, typified by sporting nature and fun, the way the game is supposed to be played and if you can’t handle that, then we’ll just have to go our separate ways!

Nice one Clem, another great game, only spoilt by the wrong result – AGAIN.

May I point out though that when Clem’s connection went down I did score 3 Touchdowns and SI all his players. I don’t know how I managed it in one turn but it was there as plain as the nose on a gobbos face. When we reconnected it went back to the beginning of my turn and try as I might I couldn’t recreate the scores. ;)
