“SWL Season XXVII - Gone's Slipper Conference League XXVII - Round 2

The dwarves scored remarkable early in the first half. With a blodger carrying the ball, we hit him as much as we could, but in the end were forced to push him over the line instead of trying to recover the ball.

With several turns remaining, we were able to advance up the pitch a little, but only managed to get two players within scoring range. Surrounded, they had to rely on some chain pushes to get free. The last block was only a pushback, so the catch was in a zone, and just to show off, Arm breaka bounced the ball off the head of a dwarf, and still caught it (eventually)! She then dodged away (no reroll remaining), and made her way into the end zone. Quite the show off indeed.

The dwarves made a rather solid wall which pretty much completely stopped our attempts to proceed up the pitch. Without a tackler on the field, the three dwarf blodgers made a real mess of things. In the end, we saw a small opening for Arm Breaka to make a move across the pitch, after a failed pass, it came down to a pickup in a tacklezone, handoff and 2 GFIs to make the TD. After that first half touchdown, Arm Breaka made this one look like a piece of cake. What a champ!

Scored a solid touchdown (even if we did have to push him over the line), made a pain of himself by getting in the way with his block & dodge (especially once Elf Bruisa was off the field).

One of the biggest threats on the field - with ST4 and frenzy, this guy was a menace. We were very glad when he was eventually removed from the pitch ... his teammates seemed a little less pleased with the way he left the pitch. ”
