“This was a tough game for Nightbird. He was playing man down to a team with more skills. His inducements never really worked the whole game.
Morley's keep my SS skink out one drive and a Saurus out for a one turn beat down before half time. Totally useless.
Gloom & Doom - My luck was in the upper 70's the whole first half. I never used the one RR I did have until the last turn of the half.
I had two prefect kicks one at each end of the field. Both of them were he had hardly any players.
Add this to his orcs getting KOed more than my Skinks and you can see what kind of game this was.
It was so bad I can't think of anything that went his way?
Nightbird played a much better game than this shows and he was a great sport dispite all the bad luck. I hope to play him again when the dice are more even.”
“The Riot found itself visting the home court of The Coke's this week, but Nuffle showed his favor by imposing Doom & Gloom & helping them exact Morley's Revenge, once again, on a superior team to help even the odds.
The Cokes were having none of that though & found a quick remedy to limit the effects of Morleys & using their star kicker were able to make several precise kicks. The Riot found itself in very bad position due to this time & again & ultimately The Cokes gained 3 turnovers, which turned into TD's very quickly using their small & swift skinks.
It seems though Nuffle favored The Riot, the Lizard god had blessed his children w/ more favor.
Nightbird, The Riots coach, had this to say after the game: "Well youz know that somestimez da game juzt dont goez youz way & youz gotz to live to fightz another day! Da good pointz of diz game iz dat all my boyz fought hard & deyz all healthy for next weekz game. Plus wez gotz enough gold from dis game to had one of dem wizardz raise our fallen thrower D. Hall back from the dark side. We gotz a full squard now to fightz dem pesky elfz next week! Waaaaagh!"
Coach Lucky Eddy was a good opponent, I hope for a rematch with more even luck & a full squad. ”
