#1 Rut'n'Tut – Dead (RIP) #15 Shambles – Dead (RIP)
“A truly brusing encounter between two new deadite franchises, which left coach Smyth trying to nurse his team back to health. Lest we Forget received in the first half and would have scored in the final turn if the Wight Ypres hadn't mistakenly entered one of the Tuts' players' TZ. He tried to dodge away but crashed to the ground and the Tuts survived to begin the 2nd half with the scores tied.
The Tuts received in the 2nd and after securing the ball they began to cage up and rumble forward in hope of securing the 1-0 win whilst causing as much carnage as possible. But whilst the Tuts' mummies were busy throwing confetti, Lest we Forget were throwing hurtin' bombs. Somme in particular had worked himself into such a rage that he killed Shambles and Rut'n'Tut outright in consecutive turns. It was 7 vs 11by the midpoint and the Tuts stood no chance as the ball carrier was hunted down and the turnover was caused. Cambrai grabbed posession and ran away from the remnants of the Khemri team to touch down in the final moments.
Winnings were just enough to allow coach Smyth to replace one of his losses, but it could be a long road back from here for the Tuts!
Well played rodders, a well deserved win after the first half mis-click. Definitely up for a remtach sometime - the traitor Shambles must be made to pay!”
