“WIL Premier Division XI - Round 4

One word... OUCH!

Handicaps in favour of Rijssiej: Illegal Drugs (+AG on Dark Wotfudboy) and Buzzing.

Saved my cash... didn't buy a wizard... Glad of that now!

1st half the amazons received, and dwarven armour seemed to break very easily with Dark JockMcCrowdy and Chewi in the injury box. and Dark Sillysod KO'd.... annoyed at this the dwarves took down and killed my str4 catcher Saucy III, but fortunately for her the apoth had not been at the Dwarven ale prematch and saved her.

By the start of turn 7/7 there were 2 dwarves mng and 2 BH'd... but then the dwarves went on a rampage to vent their anger... killing 2 zons in a row. 1-0

The 2nd half saw 9 dwarves able to take to the field against 11 amazons whose numbers had been further depleted at the end of the first half. The dwarves made steady progress, and by turn 2/3 were in the amazon half. Soon it was 9 v 9... but the dwarves left the ball carrier vulnerable, and the girls didn't waste the chance, and soon the ball was safely in the hands of Foxy II who made it away from the pack closely followed by Actress IV. By turn 6/6 there were 7 v 7 players on the field, but the ball was safe from the lumbering dwarves. Fortunately for both sides there were no further injuries and the game finished 2-0.

Unfortunately the girls earned just 30k, which didn't even get close to replacing the 4 empty starting places for the next game, with 2 niggles and 2 RIP'd. It is bound to happen though in this dwarven league so, we just have to hope we can scrape through without suffering any killer/team retiring games. Our aim had been to avoid relegation... but we have yet to face dpwright and Seraphimred's Chaos Dwarves... and then we have the small matter of some league winning lizards to contend with. So far we are living the miracle... but I'm not sure how much longer our luck can hold!
