#1 Drago, Master of Evyl Bog – Dead (RIP) #8 Florin Jr. – Dead (RIP) #9 Gavril – Broken Ribs (MNG) #9 Gavril – Smashed Knee (NI)
“A hush fell over the stands as Drago's limp body was carried off the pitch. The young Master of Evyl Bog didn't stir. Everybody assumed optimistically that he was just probably knocked out, but the damage was done. Used to playing to the harsh commands of Drago, the rest of the team was dispirited with no one to lead them. The team was battered already, but the pounding fists of the lizards didn't rest and Drago's lifeless form was soon joined by others. Gavril, the smith, with arms bent out of shape was in worse shape than most.
By the end of the game a dread foreboding filled the team as Drago was pronounced dead. What would happen to the Dire Hounds?
Awful second half. Zero KO's and five cas, if I counted correctly. I'd just gotten the ball from a Skink and was thinking how I'd score. Then a failed GFI with a reroll left me really badly out of position and the next turn both vamps were hurt. Victor regenerated but Drago died. That still left the possibility of a tie with no rerolls left for the lizards. Alas, it was not to be, and a skink scored the winning touchdown on turn 8.
Curse you Nuffle! Take all the thralls you want, but why couldn't you spare Drago!”
