“My 2nd ever blackbox game and it's against HolyG's dwarves in what looks like a very fair matchup, almost identical TS and both of us have 11 players only.

We kick and then push forward en masse, managing to blitz through with our centaur vs their ball carrier, which knocks the ball into the stands and slows down their offense. This turns into a big brawl around the center but somehow we manage to get the upper hand and an unlikely grab-and-run from our centaur leaves him almost unreachable by their end zone on turn 7. The dwarves strain and sprint and can just get a man on him - and it's enough as he fails his break tackle with no rerolls and ends face down in the dirt right in front of the dwarven endzone!!

The second half starts and racial tension rears it's ugly head as both sides start to systematically foul each other - looks like the ref's gone to the bathroom! Both apothecaries have been used up and soon there are 2 hobgoblins vs 2 longbeards in the cas boxes. We pull off a big flanking run with our centaur and then bash through the line of dwarves to eventually run in the first touchdown of the game.

There's enough time left for the dwarves to equalise but we manage to disrupt them again and again with our centaur blitzes - eventually when their counter blitz ends with double skulls our centaur break tackles his way to freedom and a second touchdown! This truly enrages the dwarves who spend their last two turns looking for blood, blocking anything they can get their hands on and gang-fouling twice - though no more casualties result.
