“The 1st half of the game was a brutal one. The skaven fell on every little push by the dwarves, spending most of their time on the ground. Likkitik, KO'd first thing in the match, spent the entire half sipping on Warpstone Juice in the KO-both while Ratzak, Tzikki and Blightley all decided to fake injury in order to be taken off field.
Ikskiz avenged his friends by killing Berak the trollslayer. The dwarven apo quickly came to the rescue though, and Dorak could continue the match. The half ended 2-1 in favour of the Plagues - thanks to some brave passes over the heads of the dwarven defenders.
The 2nd half was much less violent - mainly due to the fact that the rats had the good sense of staying prone on the field for much longer times. Likkitik was KO'd again, but came back after the dwarves scored. Nalin Ironthew niggled himself trying to maim Throkk ze Thrower much to Plague fans delight.
In the following drive the skaven poured into the dwarves side of the field trying to get a good position to score while Zzookk tried to get the ball up from the ground. After failing twice (four rolls) all the skaven was lying prone on the field, thus scoring was very difficult. Drouthek defied the longbeards however, dodged out and positioned himself in the endzone. This time Zzookk managed to pick up the ball, handed it off to Throkk who threw a beautiful 13 square long bomb for TD. The game was set!
An intense game with lots of good plays from both teams. The Plagues won because of their speed, as they should playing against dwarves, and because the passes were on target.
Thank you very much for the game, LurkingGrue, it was a fun match against a good coach! Good luck in your division!”
