“The Champions are Crowned!

The Champions of Eriu have been crowned champions of the Deathbowl League in what was a gritty well fought out, game of the season.

The game had everything blood, guts, Death, tactical battles and the all important touchdowns! (not to mention luck along the way).

The Champions took the lead through Oisin, but the Necrotic Nightmares were quick to reply after half-time. This was short lived as the Champions struck with lightning speed to take the lead once more. With little players left it would be a tough ask to hold the line for 4 turns! BUT HOLD THEY DID! The undead swarmed forward searching for an opening and in the last turn it appeared. The battle worn ghoul ran for the line but his legs could no longer carry him, as he tried to make the extra push to the line.
As the exhausted ghouls body hit the ground, spilling the ball from his hands, the Crowd erupted in almighty roar and raced on to the pitch ending the match.
The Campions of Eriu never left the field after the match, with the crowd joining in the celebrations. The beer was flowing all night and Head Coach Nemed could be heard repeatedly shouting "float like an Elf, and sting like a Troll!".”
