The beginning wasn't the best possible for the delfs. Before they could do a thing, one of the elves was knocked out (a thrown rock) and another badly hurt. So it was 9 delfs vs 11 orcs. Yikes... :)
Giantz grabbed the ball and managed to protect it nicely. Knights of Ni tried tried their best. A lot of blitzes, blocks and dodges didn't help tho the ball carrier was once knocked down. On the eight turn the orcs scored.
The second half was quite the same. Delfs had a nice start but a failed pass on the second turn messed up their game. Once again the orcs got the ball and on the fourth turn the ball was carried to the Knights' end zone. Ok. Another try for the delfs. Ok. Once again, a fumbled pass failed and the struggle for the ball began. This time neither team didn't get the ball. Both sides tried their best but the ball simply didn't get up.
The match ended 2-0.
Tho Knights of Ni lost the match, the coach was quite proud of his boys. Some brilliant blitzes and dodges were made. The coach was, however, quite envy of the opposing team's blocks - so many POWs... Brilliant news is that the Fan Factor increased tho the match was lost. Man of the Match was Jack "Lumberjack" Lumber.
