“This would probably have been my best match for the season to date. It was tense 2nd half with the game playing out similar to chess. Where each others moves and position was critical.

In the end it came down to a HUGE chance play by Illithian blitzing the ball carriering Ogre for a -2d block. POW/ DODGE/POW was rolled and the Ogre went down dropping the ball which was quickly surrounded by Lizardmen players.

Not pulling off the draw was frustrating but it’s no different to my current season of all losses. Atleast I was able to get enough winnings to purchase a new Ogre and replace #2 Bun Darkpuke (now assistant coach) with new goblin Keng Dreadhunter.

More highlights of the game, dirty playing goblin Xtag Greatbone clocking up a good 5 fouls and taking out the Kroxigor twice, first a kill, then seriously injuring it. He’s starting to become a contender for the bronze boot of season 27 but there’s still more work ahead to get this prestigious award.

Overall awesome match, heaps of fun and a good spirited hard fought win for Illithian. Next time we meet, I’ll bring my extra spikey boots for Xtag Greatbone.”
