“Head Coach AloneAndBurned had both the wolves train in cohesion for the last week, making them practice plays over and over until they had them down pat. Colonel Dyer was also helping them, teaching them new blocking skills... this was usually Igar's job. However, AloneAndBurned had a special assignment for Igar- He was to kill a magnet Golem, and steal his hands, which he did. The head coach then replaced the hands of the wight with the magnetic golem's hands, and bade him to handle the ball. He could get it all right, but he couldn't get rid of the ball that easily... it didn't go anywhere.

So, down to the match, The Chaos Dwarves showed up with their Centaurs, Troll, and Hobgoblin Henchmen... they were finally on an upswing in the league, having won their last game. However, Barich was looking to avenge his defeat at the hands of the gobbos, and was raring to go.

The flames received the ball first, and marched their way down the line. Misik provided great entertainment for the crowd, slicing into one of the Centaurs... however, the apothecary was nearby, and used all of his bandages to fix the 4 legged beast. Thus, the Hobgoblin Barakah was well guarded, and ran his way into the endzone.

The Sinners were ready to receive, when it seemed that the Flame's fans rioted. Apparently, some of the zombies in the audience were hungry, and were shambling over to the other side of the stands. After grabbing a few of the slower dwarves, they sat back down.

Now under pressure, the wolves leaped into the opposition's half, and drew attention to themselves. Igar showed his new abilities, and snagged the ball immediately. Today would not show a repeat of the last performance, that miserable showing with 5 dropped balls. He ran up, so as to dish the ball out to the other side. Dyer stood by incase of any trouble.

However, the wights had no trouble. It was the wolves who ran into it. Infact, they could not escape the tackles of the short dwarves, who kept grabbing at their feet, and tripped them up, effectively ending the first half.

The second half saw Barich go down hard. They removed his limp body off the field, where the coach saw to it that he was ready for the next game.

Misik was appalled by that display of violence, and ran around the field like a madman, not caring who he hit. Igar, in the meanwhile, had secured the ball, and was heading up towards the endzone. However, he passed the ball a little short, and it went back and forth for a bit, before settling around a big group of players.

A couple of zombies pushed around a dwarf onto the ball, and it bounced right back out, where Igar got a hold of it, and ran down the field. He hit a couple of roadblocks, but managed to shove the dwarf and goblin out of the way, and run in to the endzone to score!

The rest of the second half had many failed attempts to pickup the ball from Barakah, which completely stopped the Flame's second drive...

Going into overtime, the Sinners received. In an unprecented act, Corporal Misik ran up the field, and almost reached the endzone, when he turned to see that Igar's throw was short. He ran back, snagged it, and pushed every muscle he had into running for a score. He looked to his right to see a dwarf and Centaur running up the field, but the dwarf tripped at the last second. Dyer came running up the field, and Misik plowed into the Centaur with his help, and jumped over the line to score in a brilliant display of speed and sportsmanship.

The Sinners had redeemed themselves! Misik showed everyone why he had earned his place on the team, even if he was 3 games late!

This game was a nail-biter. Both Grue and I had not so good luck the first half, and most of the second half. In the second half, it took a bit of luck for me to score [Igar picked up the ball in 2 tackle zones, dodged out. Later made a 1-d blitz and a dodge to score.]

In overtime, Misik grabbed the ball from a TZ, dodged out, and blitzed the Centaur with one assist from a wight, to run in. He was blitzing Misik, but the dwarf tripped on the 2nd GFI to block him...

It was a good close game, with both sides battling hard... not many casualties, but a good game none-the-less...
