“Violent Desire steal the last qualifying spot for the Cup with an easy win over the Orges, leaving Cup hopefuls "Straw Dogs" to fight for a spot in the up coming trophy season.
Unless another one the remaining teams pulls of the greatest game in recorded Bloodbowl history it looks like the first four are set in stone.
Coach Hilson of the Dogs who was in the stand watching, keen to see how the results would effect his teams placing - started to lay into the Dark Elf crowd with alot of enthusastic Orge support as the result of the game went past the point of rescue for the Biggins.
The game itself seen the Darkelf team nipping in and out of tackle zones and freely making a mockery of the Biggins defensive line - Team captain "Cress Witchflight" taking this game to seal the lead over Wood Elf rival "Findecano Sirfalasfor"for SPP of the season.
It wasn't all quite so simple despite Violent Desire making it look so. Both throwers were dragged from the field, all be it with minor injuries and "Orin Fellheart" lost an eye.
The not so shocking news came when "Saven Redwolf" had his head pulled from his body and thrown into the baying crowd. And there are rumours that head coach Salem Fox had "arranged" for just such an accident.
Redwolf had never fully recovered from his collor injury and his strength was known to be poor this combined with a lack of SPP had made him a target for the ire of supporters and team players alike.
When asked to comment Fox merely stated he was happy with the result, and the loss of any player left him with a harder game to play. But he was happy the weak have been culled and he could now start to build a team.
Looking at the starting line up for the Cup some would say the combination of skill and medical staff, along with a firm fan base has this team looking better than it has since it started the league, despite the reduced numbers -Time will tell. ”
