#5 Field Agent Smith – Broken Ribs (MNG) #5 Field Agent Smith – Smashed Knee (NI)
“Low on moral MIB lined up against the attack of the wood elves hoping that their battle would not be in vain, their hopes were misplaced.
The first half was a raging battle, with the doctor taking a risk to keep a well placed Agent in the fight. A worthy ideal, but a misplaced one. Field Agent Smith would later carry a more sever injury, one that would later see him relieved of his duties.
At 0-0 at the break MIB had all their field agents (Gutter runners) out of action, but managed to break through the lines to score 1-0, their delight soon subsided when they realised that all the agents with slight knocks were still unable to return to action.
The wood elves scored back on turn 6, but with a field agent returning to the fold, MIB had 2 turns left to score. After studying some tactics and careful field positioning everything was ready, but chief Kay, charged with leading the operation failed (double 1 on quick pass) and all was undone.
The wood elves ceased their chance and, with all the agents out of position, scored with little opposition on turn 8 to take the victory, 2-1.
Agent H joined the team shortly after the action, but with a new directive removing injured serving agents (Niggles) from the fold, MIB would be up against it, should they be sent into the action again ...”
