Seriously, don't ask me how we won this, and I really don't know how we caused so much damage to an av9 team.
We hired a wizard, and it was used to stop the ag3 bull from having an easy time of it, but all he did was get up next turn, pick up the ball and score. 0-1. But we had done damage ... one bull was BH'd and a CD was fouled and niggled, and the apoth failed.
2nd half we scored, 1-1 and then managed to press back the decreasing numbers of chaos dwarves. We managed to press them enough to get the ball and score in the last turn, but not before serious long term damage had been done to dpwright's team.
This has been an unbelievable run against dwarves and chaos dwarves in this league. Next match is against Sera's CD team, who are desperately fighting to get out of the relegation zone... and then we have the small matter of the league leaders, Dominus Astrum coached by Britnoth. His team has an impressive collection of silverware, and I just have to hope that I can beat Sera without taking on too many injuries, so that I am at least able to offer Britnoth a competitive game!
