Please excuse my brevity in this correspondence as today you find us in ill spirits.
Herbal Tea, whom we had shown great mercy upon our last encounter, did not award us the same courtesy or compassion!

Despite their Wardancer killing himself in lemming like fashion, and bar the accidental murder of Howling Mad Murdock we did little damage to them, careful even not to knockout these fragile fairy folk, they on the other hand callously murdered Ramis, a bright star that never truly had the chance to shine, and repeatedly stamped upon others as they lay helpless in the dirt, even at the death of the game!

Our compassion was our undoing! Despite our equalising in the first half, and barely at that owing to a poor performance by Idgar, Herbal Tea simply numbered too many for us to break through their ranks in the second half and ultimately their speed overcome us!

Let this be a warning to Herbal Tea, to all that would deal us injustice malice … from now on expect no quarter from Recrudescence of Vanyar, you are not a Freeworlder but a contemptible and wicked resident of Mordor, and you shall be treated as such!

We shall have our revenge!

Not sure what happened in this game or where it went wrong, some snakes caused me real problems in the first half as I attempted to equalise and despite a mistake on my part I did manage to get there.

In the second half though, unable to knock many wood elves down and not break the armour of those I did I was simply out elf’ed and some bad decisions with my players led to a defeat.

Gritter continues to be a whirling dervish of deadliness to all my teams and it’s time he was put in check! I’m glad I have flings next to recover slightly, though those are often famous final words.
