“For an experimental team Midnight Whispers punched well above there weight. The six rerolls meaning they rarely suffered a turnover, or had anything less than clean pow!'s on the block dice. I fear Karlson is giving me too much credit here, I played rather badly and only really did anything well in the early part of the first half. As usual I lost a couple of players and my game plan buckled under the pressure of being outnumbered. Tried to stall at the end, and got mugged! that'll learn me.......or will it?
Noteworthy events include an interception for Vrzanur, the death of insomniac, and mem junky getting an early cas in fine style (if I say so myself).”
“First match of the Midnight Whispers and what a match. Without a skill to there name, they managed to beat Fates Worse Than Death mainly due to one player. Krazvo decided that in the absence of Storm Vermins and Ratogres he should take it upon him self to make the game - so he made 2 cas early in the 1st half, killing Insomniac (may he finaly get some rest) and BH´ing another player. Another star of the match was Kralzra, who got the ball from the wood elfs in the skavens own end zone, and under pressure made a long pas to secure the 4th and final TD of the Midnight Whispers.
On a side note - Respect to my fellow coach, who not only made my defensive line look like a complete joke, but allso toke the death of his new player rather well. Nice guy, and alot of fun to play against :)”
