Our CDwarves are facing a TR/TS deficit of 73/19 vs a big pile of ogres. Our 3 handicaps are Doom & Gloom (removing 2 RRs, useful), palmed coin and bribe the ref. They have one ogre and 2 gobbos missing & injured so it's 12 vs 12 (though 8 ogres!), let's try and remove some of their players ASAP!

We grab the deep kick with our rookie centaur but they immediately toss a SS/DT goblin through to mark him, and use the rest of their turn to make it difficult for anyone to come back and help him- difficult! He's unable to blitz over the gobbo (with RR) so we're in trouble! Luckily for us they can't knock him down on their first ogre blitz, giving us enough time to crowd some players in. When they do finally get him down and get at the ball with a gobbo they decide against a suicide charge and run backwards into safety so the ball is back in the middle of the pitch.

Rerolls have run out on either side now, and despite some good blocks from the ogres we are able to 1d blitz a bit of space around the ball and dodge + grab it with a hobgoblin who runs up one side. We are just about able to get him safe despite no rerolls and plenty of action from the ogres, and with a GFI on our final turn he's able to score!

2nd half and with one ogre in the BH box and a goblin sent off by the ref we see 7 ogres + 3 gobbos face off against our full team, however with doom & gloom gone they have 3 RRs again. The ogre fans organise a pitch invasion (who would stop them?) and stun 3 of our players! In the confusion an ogre picks up the kick from the ground nearby and the ref doesn't notice- play starts with him holding it!

The ogres push up on one side en masse while we move over to counter them. We eventually manage to knock over the ogre with the ball after a tempting crowd push attempt (1d block with a gobbo) goes awry, though they do the push the next turn. By then we're able to get at the ball- eventually grabbing it with a hobgob and starting the run upfield.

Meanwhile our DP hobgob has been busy- fouling 3 turns in a row but the ref is blind to his actions (bribe the ref unused!) - they eventually get rid of him, throwing him into the crowd after several attempts. The ball is safe by their endzone and we must surely score- but no we go for a few 'safe' 2d blocks w/ block and roll up a double skulls to end the game!
