“Our down on their luck gobbos (lost last 2 games, losing 4 gobbos last game) face 10 wood elf linemen, only one with a skill (DP) - should be fun!

And the fans decide to give us a helping hand with a thrown rock BH'ing one of the elves at the starting kick off!!

They grab the ball at the back and try and push up one side, despite one of our trolls being a nuisance. As they run out of rerolls we are able to capitalise, sprinting a few goblins downfield to sack the ball carrier. It's looking good for the gobbos but the elf blitzes keep rolling a POW and finally a nice bounce lets them grab the ball, dodge away and throw a long pass upfield to a waiting lineman who scores! A typical wood elf TD and the fans go crazy!

We start off well with a touchback and run a goblin very solidly up one side, backed up by good troll blitzes and letting us equalise just before half time. There's 2 woodies in the BH box now and one stays KO'd so we have 11 vs just 7 of them.

The 2nd half starts with a touchback, giving the ball to our troll. This lets us push forward in safety and suddenly the wood elf casualty box starts filling up! They do manage at one point to -2d block our ball carrying troll, getting both down! But we soon recover with a gobbo and keep smashing them. They are reduced to just a couple of elves on the pitch, and the goblins surround them and try and foul them to pieces. However the ref has woken up at this point and sends off both DP goblins on successive turns (without damage to the elves) - in the meantime the elves are trying to dodge and blitz their way out of trouble but they just can't do it. We score on our last turn to secure the win!
