It was a good game, worth watching if you are bored.
I just don't get Dark Elves. They are too slow for me. Going in, I felt I had little chance to win this.
The handicap wasn't horrible, but again, I still think there are kick-off events that are better.
A bad kick gave the ball to an ogre. Bill did a great job moving that ogre down the field. Honestly, there was little I could do to stop him, and I often thought I shouldn't drag it out and just let him score so I could receive before the end of the half. As it turns out though, that ogre failed a stretch in the end zone.
I recovered the ball and moved it to other side of the pitch on one turn. But I failed on a dodge when within scoring distance. The half ended scoreless, both of us failing a roll on which we only needed a 2 or better.
Even though my offense at the top of the second half started slow, it was actually moving a little. And I know I pushed too hard and lost the ball, but honestly, I don't feel I could've protected it for much longer. If I didn't lose it at that point, I would've lost it soon there after.
The dice balked and kept Bill from an easy score, so we fought back and forth during the second half, trading the ball back and forth. I didn't have the numbers of strength to hold onto it, and he didn't have the agility or love of Nuffle to hold onto it.
All that changed when a bold pass downfield to an Ogre worked. My last attempt to stop the Ogre failed like so many other simple actions that we both tried and the game was over.
Good winnings, but no skills. While I did enjoy this game, I don't enjoy this team. ”

A fun game without a doubt.
For the casual onlooker, notice the 50 / 51 luck.
More 2+ were failed this game than in the average 4 games.
Still, it was very fun.
Thanks again!
