#2 Duke Pain – Dead (RIP) #13 Baron Woe – Broken Ribs (MNG) #13 Baron Woe – Serious Concussion (-AV)
“Dem' Bones won the toss and chose to kick off. The Malcontents immediately set about getting skellies off the pitch. Their drive worked up the left side line, and was stymied twice by mummy blitzes, but they managed to push a score across on T8. The only real downer was the apo sleeping of a bender and failing to heal Baron Woe of his split skull.
The second half began with a lot fewer players but the teams went at it with gusto. The armor breaks and cas started to rack up for the Bones' mummies and multiple Norse were sidelined early. Still, Baron Anguishes DP came in handy and maintained the player advantage for the Malcontents. The Khemri drive stalled mid filed and the Norse took advantage. Duke Malice scooped up the ball and advanced behind a screen of linemen while the others occupied the mummies. The coach roared in frustration when Malice chose to stall on T7 which opened the door for a Mummy (Blackheart I think) to splatter Duke Pain.
The Malcontents pulled off a 2-0 victory, but lost two more players. Four dead and one retired in four games is going to make games going forward a real challenge for the Malcontents.”
