Another uneven match up, but we could afford no sympathy for a quick Dark Elf side... who, with their first foul RIP'd John Barnes, the sharp CW. The crowd were silent as they waited with their breath held to see what the apothecary could do... Then the boos went up as John Barnes got back to his feet swearing to get revenge!
It wasn't long before 3 elves were off the field and the elven ball carrier spilled both blood and ball. When John Barnes finally scored in the last turn, 6 DE's were off the pitch, with 2 of them BH'd. But this didn't deter the remaining elves who were too fired up to know when they were beaten (in all senses of the word!). 1-0
The 2nd half saw the tidal wave of chaos wash over the hapless elven defence. After the chaos scored their 2nd (2-0), only 6 DE's could manage to make it back on to the pitch. It was clearly all over.
With the ball deep in the DE half, and another tidal wave of chaos breaking on the low shores of the DE defence, the sheer numbers of chaos meant a 3rd TD was inevitable.
Thanks for the game McVily... you didn't really stand a chance against this side, but you sure put the effort in. Glad the cas's were low, and it wasn't a team retirement!
Now, to the Final!! :) ”
