“Wow. Talk about a game of contrasting fortunes. For the first half and 2 turns into the second half, the Blackbeards are at their most inept. Unable to do anything other than try to stall the inevitable TD, we went into the break 0-1 down. The second half started out the same but soon turned around in dramatic fashion. Scoring the equalizing TD on turn 5 followed up with a kick that landed right on the line of scrimage close to 3 Blackbeards players. The Mugs could not pick up the ball and the Blackbeards swarmed out to not only secure the ball but kill a Dwarf in the process (the one and only casualty of the game!). With the ball in hand and numbers on our side the Blackbeards went on to score the winning TD in turn 8.”
