“Our newly-trimmed skaven (-3 players in our last thrashing of a no-ball khemri team) vs Coach-D's +18 TS dwarves. We get one handicap: VIRUS, which removes their niggled runner, leaving just 10 dwarves but a lot of guard.

Newly acquired Yegge gets volunteered for the LOS and he's KILLED by the first block the dwarves throw! The apothecary sprinkles him with warpfire and delivers a few swift kicks.. reviving him!

Our gutter runners have run through looking to sack the rookie runner but he grabs the ball on his 2nd attempt and cooly passes it upfield to a blitzer in a classic dwarven cage. We try our best to surround it loosely and eventually a dwarf block goes wrong and we are able to dodge and blitz down the ball carrier before grabbing it with our AGI 5 runner who sprints downfield. He's out of reach for a few turns but the dwarves go for the bashing approach rather than chase down after him. It works fairly well with a rat MNG'd and another BH'd by the time we score to end the half.

There are a further 2 rats in the KO box vs a KO'd troll slayer and a longbeard BH'd so it's 8v8 for the 2nd half. We run up one side with both gutter runners and the AGI 4 lineman and despite their best efforts we can easily pass to the AGI5 gutter runner and run in the touchdown on turn 2.

We use our high speed and gutter runners to again charge through after our nice deep kick. The lone runner picks up the ball but goes for a long pass down field and fumbles it! We are able to blitz him down and once again secure the ball out of reach. We score two turns later to make it 3-0 with only a few turns left. The enraged dwarf fans get the ref!!

The dwarves foul for the remaining three turns while we try and set up another touchdown attempt (foiled by poor gutter runner dodging). They MNG a lineman but their final turn foul involving 7 dwarves can only stun our prone gutter runner!

Their fans desert in droves, disgusted by this shameful display on the field.
