“10-rat skaven vs undead with one game under their belt (yet managed to get a zombie DP, curses!). They get 2 handicaps: virus (wasted) and illegal drugs netting them a str4 wight for the game.
We start things off by getting the ref, though unfortunately we still haven't got a a DP. They knock down the token LOS rats and set up for a big gang foul on one with their DP, but first they attempt to grab the ball with the str 4 wight and fail despite a reroll. This lets us run through, blitz over their DP zombie and then dodge through our agi 4 lineman to foul him - BH but he regens!
We run through and sack the str4 with our dauntless GR and then grab the ball and spend the rest of the half trying to keep the undead away while gang fouling anything we can. We foul the STR4 wight probably 5 or 6 times without ever doing more than stunning him! Eventually we score on turn 8 with a rookie rat in the BH box and another in the KO box.
We receive for the 2nd half with 8 vs 10 undead. Our thrower secures the ball by our endzone while we push one runner upfield- he's knocked over by their drugged up wight but we dodge him away, dauntless blitz over a mummy (which works at -2d after dauntless fails twice) and then throw the ball upfield to this same dauntless GR and move a few rats to get in the way. They get a tackle zone on him but that doesn't stop him dodging, passing to the unmarked GR who runs in the TD to make it 2-0.
We kick off and it's clear the undead are ignoring the ball having given up hope of scoring since they have only a single zombie in the backfield. We charge through our SV and GRs and grab the ball before they do, and once again all they can do is put a tackle-less player by our GR. They do gang foul our agi4 linerat with their DP, niggling him- the apo can do nothing! Fortunately he is also sent off and can do no more damage. On our turn we blitz a SV into the endzone and then dodge + pass to him with our GR for the TD, skilling up both!
A zombie somehow catches the kick and starts running up one side, forcing us into fairly desperate attempts at stopping him, which come to nothing and they score a consolation TD in the final seconds of the match.
Good game :)”
