“AV7 Norse vs. Khemri...gulp!

The Bombers received the kickoff and rolled their cage upfield, stacking Norse into the KO box like so much Northern Pine with a combination of blocks and fouls. Although they could have possibly scored sooner, they strolled into the endzone in T8 for a 1-0 halftime lead.

The Norse received the 2nd half kickoff at even strength, although they were out of reserves. Now on offense, they managed some KO's and BH's (including one of the Bomber's mummies) and soon had a numerical advantage and a strong push up the left hash. Although the endzone was open by T4, the Malcontent coach decided the prudent decision was to play for the tie in order to prevent the Khemri from going back on offense. This didn't go over well with 'ourbee' who thought that not playing for the win was lame. In my opinion a draw with no casualties vs. Khemri IS a win. It should be noted that we agreed that we have differing opinions on that matter :).

As it is, the Norse pushed thru the tying score on T8 and managed to escape the game vs. the [B line] bombers with no casualties. Yay!”
