“WIL Premier Division XI - Round 7 - Last round

This was the last game to be played in the premiership, with Britnoth already winning the division, and my zons finishing 2nd... so the result was effectively meaningless. Only pride was at stake.

We started the game with some luck, BHing a Saurus, and popping a couple of 1dice pows in the mix. It allowed us to score first in turn 6. After that though the game changed for the worse for our team.

Britnoth, who was doing his best to complain about my luck then pulled off the move of the game to make the equaliser. I'm not sure if it's on the replay as we had to reload due to the something going wrong.

Anyway, that rubbed salt into the wound as the equaliser at half time meant the lizards were receiving. The wound was gaping. I had lost Foxy II to a RIP and failed apoth, and then Singer V joined her.

This game had gone from a meaningless cup builder match to a fight for survival, and Britnoth spared no quarter in ensuring maximum damage was inflicted. I of course tried to return the favour, and the girls notched up an impressive number of casualties given the circumstances.

In the end we were lucky enough to get enough cash to replace FoxyII with a new blitzer... but to lose two well skilled zons was tough, and compounded by a FF decrease. Britnoth deserved the win in the end, but a little more luck my way may have seen a hard fought draw or possibly a win for me instead of this cruel loss.

Grats on the Premiership win Brit... I am very happy with runner up as I didn't have a hope of that before the season started!
