Game went downhill right from the start. Received the ball and started working up the left sideline behind a nice screen. Don't Need Dirt's break tackle mummy waltzed right thru it and laid out the blodger catcher. The whole rest of the half was my making desperate plays to pop the ball from the skellie carrying it, to only watch him swoop right in a pick it back up, tackle zones or not. Of course, the plays only got more desperate as the Malcontents started stacking up the KO and Injury boxes, but the half ended with the one ball-handling failure of the whole half for the Dirters, a fummbled short pass trying for the TD.

Second half was pretty much a replay of the first. Lots of splattered Norse and a slow steady cage moving up the field. The mummies got to play smack the ogre who, following two games of this, is considering retirement as he's about had it. The coach has had to agree to a contract renegotiation to keep him on. The Dirters had no trouble rolling in for a score on T8.

This game saw the retirement of both catchers, one lost a MA, the other picked up his second niggle. Fortunately my drunkard apo came thru and revived the only potential death.

The Khemri coach didn't manage anything too spectacular (other than pretty much never failing to pick up the ball), but he also didn't make any mistakes and rolled up the Norse like so much dead wood. Good game halivaraith.”
