The mission started just like any other, but went downhill quickly. MIB got into position and when the opening came struck, but the Field Agents failed (double 1) and the High Elves got an early success, 0-1.

MIB studied their charts once more and positioned themselves to restore order from the chaos so far, but once the chance came, the Field Agents failed again (double 1). Field position had allowed them another chance at the plan though, but the open Field Agent failed again, it remained 0-1 as MIB took some respite.

After the break the High Elves put their plan into action quickly, but the Field Agents jumped into action to knock loose the ball and just had to dodge to collect it, but were unable (double 1) leaving the High Elves free to take over. The agents tried in vain to stop them, but all too soon it was 0-2.

MIB had to do something quickly and despite being out-manned, finally managed to break through the lines, 1-2. As the High Elves positioned themselves to drive home their victory, suddenly there was a chance, two Field Agents jumped in stealing the ball away and, leaving no time for the High Elves to come back, made it 2-2.

The mission debriefing mood would be a mixed one, their had been no victory, but so many things had gone against them today that to return to base having not been defeated seemed like a victory in itself.

Following the match, Agent D announced his decision to step down from the agency. Agent J has stepped in to the fold to take his place and we can only hope he lives up to his name.”
