“Brutal but fair game. Mazakk hurt Ingvar pretty badly in the first turn. He must have been distracted ... Olof tried to avenge his friend in the third turn, by seriously injuring Mazakk. The apothecary managed to save him though. The Ticklers managed to stop the initial Furnace attack before the ball passed the center line. Wreak snatched up the ball and scored while Tear tripped Mazakk as he furiously thundered back home ...
The Ticklers managed to hold the Furnace back during the rest of the half.
The first half of the second half was spent trying to hold the line while Tear concentrated on picking up the ball. Rip hurt Mazezakk, while Mazakk - always Mazakk - smashed through the line and came thundering towards the now somewhat nervous beastman. Luckily, the big bad bull fell in his frenzy, and Tear could finally manage to get hold of the ball and get his hooves out of there. Mazakk followed him across the entire field, despite the Ticklers attempts to block his and everyone elses paths - he even knocked down Bad Feeling as he dashed on. Olof stopped him just in time with a well aimed armoured fist, and Tear could tear himself loose and score.
The Furnace planned some kind of fancy move in the remaining two rounds, but as it included Garaq (the Furnace troll) it all ended in confusion when he didn't remember what he was supposed to do.
A good game. The first in which the Ticklers took any substantial damage, but also a fine victory. Quicker feet was the key. The Ticklers have the greatest respect for Mazakk however. He caused tremendous trouble, perhaps more than the rest of the Furnace combined.”
