“Texas Roadkill delivered some hors d'oeuvres to the Mayhem prior to the match. Zohan, Ghidorah, and the Fonz were reported to have tried the snacks, and all three were mysteriously absent as the match began.

Trukk Rock received the opening kickoff and advanced behind a wedge of orcs. Henry Fonda slipped and knocked himself out of the play. Jack Sparrow shot through a hole in the line to tackle Trukk, and ran straight into a fist, dropping him flat. Chewbacca blitzed in from behind, lunged, and caught an elbow right to the nose, leaving him stunned. Trukk advanced easily between the prone humans and scored without breaking a sweat.

Ten humans lined up to receive the kick, and King Ghidorah collected the ball. Chewbacca and Mothra dodged downfield to find and opening, but repeated pummellings by Trukk left them without space, and Ghidorah was eventually sacked by Headstompa and left the game with a shattered hand. Halftime found the Roadkill up 1-0.

Zohan and Fonzie were absent again, so just eight humans lined up to start the second half. Again Chewbacca and Mothra wriggled into the Roadkill backfield, and the Killer Rabbit prepared to let the ball fly. Chewbacca was knocked out, but Mothra escaped all attempts to bring him down and caught a long pass from the Killer Rabbit, and leveled the game at 1-1.

Zohan and Fonzie's continued absence left seven to defend the next Roadkill drive. Grimworld Rock advanced up the middle as Terminator was knocked out, and then Rutgarth crushed Henry Fonda flat into the turf, leaving him distinctly dead. Grimworld ambled up the field, again prone humans littered the pitch. Mothra blitzed Grimworld, and was thrown to the pitch, stunned. Not to be outdone, Mothra lept up, dodged past Gorgafist and Feetrot and bodily heaved Grimworld into the endzone, scoring a second touchdown for the Roadkill.

With time ticking down, the Mayhem got the first step on the kickoff, and a touchback! Mothra gathered the ball and the Killer Rabbit and Red Card combined to push Mothra down the field. Mothra shot down the sideline, past Headstompa, and into the endzone for the saving touchdown, 2-2.

The Game MVP went to Mothra for his three touchdowns, including one for the other team. Mothra vigorously denied that he illegally used his wings to score before time ran out. The referee could not be consulted about the final drive, as he mysteriously disappeared during the second half. However, due to a miscommunication, the official scoresheet lists Chewbacca as the MVP - and it was too late to correct by the time the mistake was discovered.”
