“It was a blazig sunny day, not ideal weather for the undead, who prefer to play in shadow, away from the life giving sun, but the cheaters of death, put in a top performance against The Orc hoard.
Highlights of the match was the early touchdown scored by Kaine. The orcs came back fighting, with a brave and foolish "da toad" squaring up to Haken-Aten. Not even the orc pain-boy surgeon could patch up such a damage to the poor throwers body. Although the orcs pushed hard, the stalwart undead were able to hold back their drive, ending the first half 1-0.
The Orcs blitzed out in the second half, and pushed deep into the Undead half. Alas though, the orc resolve was too much even for the cold corpses, and they scored an equaliser seconds before the end of the half. Questions have been raised though on the effectiveness of the orcs ability to listen to the referees whistle, and nfl occials are looking into getting a bigger incentive for the orcs to obey the rules.
With overtime a certainty, the Nightmares sacked the black orc blockade, and a savage foul from the Charnel's shattered talons, disembowled "Ivi Pointytooth", sending a a now Grey black-orc to the meat locker.
In overtime, and with a semi-final pplace at stake, the Shambling Souless ones, pushed hard at the orcs, and slowly, but inevitably stalked the goal line, resulting in a serious injury for Girt facebeater at the hands of Ramtut III. A final scrape for the ball, seen Carcass Bloodletter recieving second death, but it was to no avail as Carrion cross the ball across the line to win the game 2-1.
Nightmare fans were shocked at the death of Carcass Bloodletter, but strange rumours suggest that the evil that animated this Wight remains on, and that around his Barrow Tomb, strange lights have been seen, and unsettling scratches can be heard from within the walls. More ominous is the fact that around the forementioned area, the dead have become restless again, and some say, nay whisper, that the Lord Bloodletter may yet play again........soon!!!”
