“My very first match ended somewhat predictably with my being shown to be the rookie that I was. I made a number of blatant errors early that led to being down early, both on the scoreboard and in available players. Where I did play correctly, the dice often failed me anyway. My opponent offered helpful suggestions as the game went on, which were appreciated and filed away for future reference. The death of the Kroxigor left a gaping hole on the team, putting the team in the hole for the next few matches.
