“Well, it is safe to say that my troll slayers failed 90% of their dauntless rolls in this game, my turn was ended by skulls six or seven times, especially where they mattered and unskilled zombies kept the dwarves stunned at all times. Somehow I managed to pin his guys down long enough to stall out a 0-0 half.
The first half finished with a luck rating of 48/78 which was quite accurate I suppose. Beginning of second half? Blitz! Oh wow, I thought, my luck is turning. I can win this. After a rerolled dauntless, I had the mummy lying down and the rest of his LOS overpowered. Opponent tried to move through from above, I got nothing but skulls at the critical moment and there you have it.
Then the opponent got the ref of course. While I can see how it is more likely to be gotten by the team with more FF, I don't understand how that kickoff roll manages to crop up so often.
Mercifully, he left his mummy wide open at one point so I was able to KO gangfoul it, but the opponent's successful 1d blitzing of the ball carrier meant I had to resort to a Short Pass for the equalising touchdown (runner to runner) which failed of course.
All in all, a disappointing game and I believe I could win a more evenly rolled rematch. Nevertheless, I have nothing bad to say about Slaveren.”
