“Our chaos dwarves face iena's 80-game humans! Our handicap is doom and gloom losing them 3 of their 5 rerolls for the first half.

We push up one side and score quickly with our rookie centaur (on turn 4) after the humans burn up both rerolls trying to stop us. This leaves us a few turns to try and capitalise on them failing something with no rerolls.

And yes- we get our chance when the very sunny weather means their thrower fumbles their pass on the first turn! We rush through our centaurs and a hobgob while trying to tie up as many humans as possible in the center. But it's not enough cos good defending from the humans knocks us all over and our hobgob seriously injures himself trying to get to the ball. The half ends 1-0 for us.

They receive and push through a gap they make in our line with a thrower and a catcher- but a risky dodge and blitz by one of our dwarves lets us knock him over! We try and get our AGI4 hobgob back for the ball but their superstar blitzer shadows him 4 times until he trips over KO'ing himself! It looks good for the humies until their ogre rolls double skulls midturn letting us snatch the ball with a centaur and leg it upfield! But not for long as good blitzing by their +STR lineman lets them push our centaur to the sideline and the following turn eject him into our reserves box! The crowd throw the ball back into the human half but good play lets them run their thrower back, secure the ball and then get it back upfield for their passer to make it 1-1 on their last turn!
