“Our brand new reroll-free dark elves face Pretender's under-strength wood elves. They have just 7 players but with a guarder and 2 blodgers we may have trouble taking them down.

Our fans decide to get the ref at kickoff! They score quickly by turn 3 with typical wood elf speed though a lineelf has been badly hurt on a double 1 dodge.

Our fans react by getting the ref again - what a waste!! Their catcher seizes the ball after their kick in front of two of our players with ease, but fortunately a 3d blitz is enough to knock him over and we foul him into the serious injury box, letting us grab the ball and run it upfield to score on turn 6. Just 4 elves line up and when double skulls rears it's ugly head we have a chance to get a 2nd... failing on the final GFI into the endzone!

With just 4 players facing us for the 2nd half we receive and move upwards, scoring on turn 4 after removing two more elves. Just 2 line out to see our kick sail right down into their endzone.. and bounce out! The touchback gives them a chance when their wardancer leaps over our defence and downfield. We surround him for a 3d blitz that can only push him and then put 8 players in and around him to try and limit his leap escape options. He makes the leap but then fails the -1 dodge! This lets us grab the ball and run it back upfield to score that very turn and seal the win.

With just 2 players and no touchback this time we get the ball and score a final time before the final whistle; their wardancer the sole wood elf left on the pitch.
